ABOUT RICH WHITTON, CPA, MBA, ChFC, CFP®

Experience:

More than twenty-five years of experience in financial management, financial consulting, financial planning, and executive management consulting.

While earning my CPA designation with KPMG (one of the major international accounting and consulting firms), I specialized in the private sector, mostly in the small business division.  After leaving KPMG, I spent a number of years in private industry as a divisional controller and later a CFO (chief financial officer).

CPA -- earned with KPMG

EMBA -- Claremont Graduate University (Peter Drucker School of Management)

ChFC -- Chartered Financial Consultant

CFP® -- Certified Financial Planner™ 

Education:

My undergraduate work was completed at UCLA, where I earned a BA in Economics.  Later, I earned an Executive MBA from Claremont Graduate University, studying under, amongst other professors, the late Peter Drucker.

Personal:

I enjoy spending time with my wife and family; and, I am an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.
